BROWNVILLE - Arthur T. Larson, 95, well known dairy farmer from Brownville, passed away May 4, 2016, at Hibbard Nursing Home, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born at the family farm in Brownville, October 27, 1920, the son of Peter and Helena (Jacobson) Larson. Arthur was married to Arlene (Lovejoy) Larson for 72 years and together they raised four children.
He is survived by his four children, Lorna Melonson of Florida, David Larson and his wife, Dorothy, of Milo, Rita Larlee and her husband, Eugene, of Millinocket and James Larson and his wife, Susan, of Milo; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arthur was predeceased by his parents; his wife; three brothers, Einar, Albion and Carl Larson; two sisters, Esther Larson and Mildred Boehne; two grandsons, Alan Avery and Andrew Larson; and a son-in-law, George Melonson.
Friends and family are invited to call from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo. Burial will be in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Milo Food Cupboard, P.O. Box 116, Milo, ME 04463.
