BIDDEFORD - Anthony J. McKee, 44, died in his home on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. He was born on July 2, 1971 to Grace Joseph and Dariel McKee, Sr.
He was brilliant, handsome, kind and devastatingly funny. He loved his family and friends, and enjoyed life. He was always up for adventures, yummy food, motorcycle rides, building backyard fires, making people laugh, and tinkering with anything he could pull apart and put back together again.
He loved his job at Alexander & Schmidt and loved his coworkers immensely. Anthony lived to help others. He gained so much from what he could give. He was generous and caring. He loved dogs, all types, but, was really partial to German Shepherds. He loved riding his motorcycle, and he loved an old red Ford Mustang he had long since lost to a moose, but still held very dear to his heart.
Anthony was a role model, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and above all else a friend to those who knew and loved him. He was a true blessing and will be sadly missed by family and friends who loved him so much.
He was predeceased by his father in 1985; and two sisters, Audrey and Norma McKee. He is survived by his mother of Biddeford; 5 sisters, Jean Joseph, Annette McKee, Diana McKee and her husband John Marcotte, all of Biddeford, Karen Anderson and her husband Wayne Anderson of Fort Kent, and Christie Dobbins of Houlton; 3 brothers, Dariel McKee Jr. of Houlton, Daren McKee of Canaan and Thomas McKee; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2016, at Ludlow Cemetery, Ludlow. Local arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please send prayers of love, hope, and happiness in Anthony's honor. He would have truly loved that. To share condolences online, please visit www.HopeMemorial.com.
