- Annette (Pelletier) Cyr, 92, died peacefully November 24, 2016, with family by her side at a Fort Kent Health Care Facility. She was born in Baker Lake, N.B. Canada, August 23, 1924, the daughter of Theodore and Yvonne (Caron) Pelletier.
Annette was a past member of the Columbiettes, having been one of the original charter members and receiving her 25 year pin, and the Ladies of St. Ann, both of Fort Kent. One of her favorite pastimes was painting beautiful sceneries and creating her own mangers and nativity sets that never failed to impressed her family members and friends. In fact, the community loved them so much she sold out many of them at the local Craft Fairs.
She is survived by her nine children: Paul and wife Bonnie Cyr of Fort Kent, Raymond and wife Janet of Fort Kent, Louise and husband Gary Jandreau of Fort Kent, Rita and husband David Dumond of SC., Therese and husband Tim Vernon of Presque Isle., Louis Cyr of Brewer, Daniel Cyr of Hartford, CT. Claire and husband Dan Trembley of Old Town, Mark and wife Sunita of California. Many special grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Her brothers and sisters; Albert and Laurette Pelletier, Gaetan and his wife Louisette Pelletier, Gaetane Lavoie, Lise Hall, Germain and wife Carole Pelletier, sister-in-law, Irma Pelletier.
In addition to her parents, Annette was predeceased by her husband Rosaire Cyr in 2015, her son Andre Cyr in 2013, brother; Lucien Pelletier, sister, Yvette Ouellet, and brother-in-law Doug Hall.
Friends may call Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will be held at a later date in the Parish Cemetery.
