OLD TOWN - Ann L. Pearson, 70, died April 19, 2014 at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. She was born Dec. 15, 1943, in Bangor, a daughter of Dr. John J. Pearson and Claris A. (Davis) Pearson.
Ann grew up in Milford, graduated from Old Town High School and the University of Maine, Orono. She taught second grade at Old Town Elementary school for over 30 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed swimming and traveling, including several trips over seas. She was a past member of the Old Town Orono Kiwanis.
She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Dupuis and her husband, Rex; three grandchildren, Zachary, Kyle, and Amber Dupuis, all of Old Town; 2 brothers, John Pearson and his wife, Sandra of Portland, Michael Pearson of Enfield; sister, Sara Dufour and her husband, Peter of Old Town; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents.
Graveside services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Lawndale Cemetery. Immediately following the graveside, all are invited to return to Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St., Old Town, for a time of sharing stories and refreshments.
