Ann Elizabeth Norton

Columbia Ann Elizabeth Norton, 81, died peacefully at her daughter, Lisa's home with family by her side on November 17, 2018. She was born on December 31, 1936, the daughter of Russell and Audrey (Morse) Wilkes.
Ann lost her battle to dementia after a 15 year journey. She was full of life, laughter, and love through her last days here on earth.
Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Ann is survived by her husband of 54 years Nathan Norton of Addison; four children, her daughter, Lisa (Norton) Lutes of Columbia and family; her son, Eric Norton of Leominster, Massachusetts and family; her daughter, Debbie (Choate) Skeate of Columbia and family; and her daughter, Valorie (Parritt) Geel of Columbia and family; and a nephew, William Wilkes, Jr. of Baileyville. Ann was predeceased by her parents and a younger brother, William.
A special thank you to the ladies of Hospice, Marie Vandegrift and the ladies at Loving Care, and Michelle and Gene Cowperthwaite for all of their love and assistance during her journey.
A gathering of family and friends for a celebration of Ann's life and services will be held at a later date.

I will always remember Ann As someone who was always happy and full of laughter, and with a heart so big I don't see how it fit in her chest. R IP Ann, and my condolences to the whole family

We will never forget all of the fun times spent at our camp at Schoodic Lake, especially the 3rd of July night we walked around the lake and went to Audrey and Russell ' s camp, masked. Ann may have been little but she was always ready to have a good time. Our condolences and love to all of the family.
