Bangor - Amy M. LeBlanc, 94, wife of the late Edward LeBlanc, died May 19, 2017, in Bangor, after a period of declining health. She was born March 2, 1923, in TeAwamutu, New Zealand, the daughter of James and Amy (Boyle ) Quinn.
Amy married her husband, Edward, while he was serving with the U.S. Navy during WWII in Wellington, New Zealand. She was naturalized as a U.S. citizen on April 3, 1957, while living in Presque Isle. Amy was a member of St. Mary's Parish, Presque Isle, the Daughter's of Isabella and was active with the PTA.
She is survived by her son, Ashley LeBlanc and his wife, Ruth, of Brewer; grandchildren, Brian Weinthal and his wife, Suzanne, of Chicago, Ill, Anthony LeBlanc and his wife, Jessica, of Brunswick and Abigail LeBlanc of Bangor; and great-grandchildren, Conor Weinthal, Liam LeBlanc and Emily LeBlanc. She was predeceased by her husband; one son, Brian LeBlanc; and by a grandchild, Megan LeBlanc.
