BREWER - Glenn A. Geiser Sr., 69, died April 29, 2012, at his residence. He was born Dec. 30, 1942, in Sandusky, Ohio, the son of Lynn and Marion (Riemenschneider) Geiser. Glenn was a U.S. Air Force veteran stationed at Dow Airfield in Bangor, where he met his wife, Marilyn Sites. Glenn and Marilyn were married 50 years and raised two sons, Glenn Geiser Jr. and Alan Geiser; and one daughter, Arianna Geiser of Brewer. Glenn retired after 29 years with Nissen Baking Co. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed woodworking hobbies. Glenn had a special gift in touching many people's lives. He will be fondly remembered by many friends. Surviving in addition to his wife and three children are three sisters, Lynnette Galloway, Carol Stroh and half sister Sue Utter, all of Sandusky, Ohio; nine grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 4, at Columbia Street Baptist Church, 63 Columbia St., Bangor, with Pastor Scott McPhedran officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to a or Hospice of Maine. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Directors, Bangor.
