GUILFORD - Mildred B. Garland, 92, died April 29, 2012, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born Dec. 19, 1919, in Guilford, daughter of Orman and Frances (Stetson) Wilson. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy C. Garland, in 1994. She is survived by three sons, Maurice Garland of Madison, Chester Garland and his wife, Barbara, of Solon and David Garland of Harmony; daughter, Meredith Madrid of Massachusetts; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Wilson of Guilford; two sisters, Beatrice Campbell of Florida, and Ruth Brooke of Clinton; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at Elmwood Cemetery, Guilford, with Pastor Ray Beless officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Pine Tree Hospice, 883 West Main St., Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Guilford.
