TEMPE, Ariz. - Arthur H. Schlosser, 80, passed away April 27, 2012, in Tempe, Ariz. He was born Aug. 27, 1931, to John Carl and Erna Wilhemina (Rathke) Schlosser, at home in Palmyra Township, S.D., and moved to the family farm in Allison Township, S.D. Arthur was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and later worked 30-plus years and retired from New England Telephone Co. now Verizon Communications. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Schlosser; daughters, Cecelia Dobson and husband, Jeffrey, and Sheryl Schlosser; stepchildren Cindy Vann and husband, Tim, Harv Schlosser and wife, Marie, and Richard and wife, Ellen Schlosser; grandchildren Jeffrey Dobson Jr. and wife, Elizabeth, Christopher Dobson and wife, Angela, Ashleigh Bina and husband, Andy, Michelle Schlosser, Lisa Black and husband, Zax, Sharon Snow and husband, Chad, Brittany Walberg and husband, eremey, Courtney Schlosser, and Andrew Schlosser; nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister, Arlene Hixon and Jan (Roger) Farley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
