DEDHAM - Virginia R. Sheely completed her worldly journey Tuesday, March 19, 2013, after a brief illness. Ginny will now meet-up with her parents, Robert A. Hallahan and Virginia R. (Moreshead) Hallahan; and brother, Michael, all of whom predeceased her.

Ginny was a homemaker par excellence. Early in her life she worked at several electronic manufacturers, mostly in Massachusetts. Ginny traveled extensively throughout the USA. She was looking forward to moving to Montana, where her only child, Lorna Tripp and granddaughter, Cassie Kleffner, live. Ginny was so happy this past July as she attended Cassie's wedding to Josh Kleffner in the "Big Sky" state. Then Ginny "Me-mere" recently learned she would be a young great-grandmother next September. Ginny was an avid bingo and instant lottery ticket player. She shared numerous big winners with her family and others. Ginny was a protector of animals. In addition to the love she shared for others, Ginny was superlative at creating laughter all around her. It is that asset that conquered numerous serious medical obstacles.

Ginny will be fondly remembered by her husband of nearly 20 years, Raymond Sheely; daughter, Lorna Tripp and husband, John; as well as granddaughter, Cassie Kleffner and husband, Joshua. They will continue to recall their lives with "Mom" and "Me-mere." Virginia is survived by sisters, Jo-Ann Beausoleil and Patricia Fregeau; and brothers, William, John and James. The family thanks the several respiratory therapists, nurses, dialysis technicians, physicians and social workers at Eastern Maine Medical Center, who professionally and lovingly cared for Ginny.

As requested by Ginny, a private celebration of her life will be held at a future date. Donations may be sent to Eastern Maine Medical Center CancerCare of Maine or an animal humane society of your choice.
