CUTLER - Virginia 'Ginny' M. Reynolds, 87, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by family, Jan. 8, 2013, at Maine Veterans Home, Machias. Ginny was born Feb. 18, 1925, in Whiting, daughter of Ralph and Lula (Lulu Huntley) Look.

Ginny's gift in caring for others was reflected over the years in her many jobs; from CNA and home-maker to working at Augusta Mental Health Institute. One of her great pleasures was her role as a foster grandparent at Bay Ridge Elementary School where she worked for more than 10 years. Ginny was a selfless person who gained immense joy from caring for others and seeing the happiness of those around her. Another source of fulfillment for Ginny was her love for the Lord. For years Ginny led an active church life and in more recent times continued to find joy and contentment in her relationship with God.

Ginny, one of twelve children, was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Lula (Lulu); by her brothers, Vincent, Neil and Max, and by her sisters, Faith, Mildred, Betty, June and Thelma. Ginny will also be met in heaven by her granddaughter, Molly and daughter-in-law, Margaret. Ginny is survived by her husband, Bruce, and five children, Donna Dennison and husband, Ronnie, of Windsor, Daniel Reynolds and wife, Lynn, of Oxford, Jerry Reynolds and wife, Julie, of Phillips, Toni Stauffer and husband, Larry, of Cutler and Tim Reynolds of Cutler. Ginny also leaves behind three sisters, Inez Ackley of Bangor, Verna Dennison of Cutler, and Jean Wood of Machiasport. Ginny will be greatly missed by many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren including three special grandchildren, Nicole, Nicholas and Krystal, who lived nearby and have many treasured memories of "being at nanny's house." Ginny will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Ginny was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, whose laughter and love will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Jan. 10, at McClure Family Funeral Home, corner of Charles and Drisko St., Machias. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Jan. 11, at the Head of the River Baptist Church, Cutler. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ginny's memory to Maine Veterans Home in Machias, 32 Veterans Way, Machias, ME 04654, Attn: Activity Fund. Condolences and memories may be shared with the Reynolds family by visiting their book of memories at www.mcclurefamilyfuneral.com.
