BANGOR and BREWER - Viki (Bellefleur) Cayford, 66, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 17, 2013, surrounded by her loving family at a Bangor hospital. She was born Dec. 11, 1946, in Lewiston, the daughter of Camille and Doris (Farrell) Bellefleur.

Viki enjoyed living in the Bangor region and in her younger years ran for the Miss Bangor pageant. Throughout the years she worked at a couple of doctors' offices, the draft office in the 1960s, owned and operated a Bronzage tanning salon, owned and operated Cay-Bel Publishing and Superior Book Binders of Maine, Budget Rent-a-Car, and more recently at Christmas Tree Shop, Bangor. Viki attended St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a devoted caregiver for her family taking care of her mother and husband. There are many wonderful memories of rides in her MGB convertible to the coast of Maine. She valued her times with dear friends Bonnie and Crystal for their weekly lunch and movie gatherings. More than anything her family was her life including her cats and bunnies.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving daughter, Danielle Martin and husband, Troy, and granddaughter, Gabi Martin, all of Waterville; sisters, Jocelyn St. Pierre and husband, Reginald, of Fort Fairfield, Anne Beaulieu and husband, Marcel, of St. Quentin, New Brunswick, Lorette Cole and husband, Bill, of Los Angeles, and Denise Parent and husband, Philip, of Colchester, Conn.; father of her daughter, Prosper "Bo" Baudean of New Orleans; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her husband, John Cayford; and a brother, Camille. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of both St. Joseph Hospital and Eastern Maine Medical Center for the excellent care she received.

A service to celebrate Viki's life will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main St., Brewer.
