LEE - Vesta P. Osgood, 82, wife of Robert Osgood, passed away Feb. 26, 2013 at her home. She was born Nov. 6, 1930, in St. John, New Brunswick, the daughter of Annie (Corbett) and Sears David Smith.

Vesta was a true outdoorsperson. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and snowmobiling and was a park ranger for many years. She was well known for her flower garden - a very important part of her life. She was a very artistic painter and sang with the Millinocket Players. She was very much into her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by two sons, David Osgood and Frank Michaud; a brother, David Smith; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Timmy Osgood; a daughter, Jolane (Michaud) Chavarrie; an unborn child, Jerry Michaud; her first husband, Jerry Michaud; brother, Trevor Smith; and two sisters, Velma Willette and Daisy Dubec.
