WALLAGRASS - Susan L. Daigle, 54, died Jan. 3, 2013, at a Boston health care facility after a long illness. She was born June 16, 1956, in Waukesha, Wis., daughter of Alan and Sarah (Pillsbury) Wagner.

Susan served with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves forces for three years. She was a secretary for the superintendent of school for SAD No. 27, Fort Kent; and was a member of Marine Corps League, and Fort Kent Veterans of Foreign Wars Lozier O'Grady Post No. 9609 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Robert D. Daigle of Wallagrass; two brothers, Daniel Wagner and wife, Julie, and Joseph Wagner and wife, Barbara, both of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and one nephew, Lee Wagner.

Graveside services will be held in the spring at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou, and will be announced in the Bangor Daily News by Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. Those who wish in her memory may donate to Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund, Northern Maine Medical Center, 194 E. Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743.
