CARIBOU - Shannon Marie Duplessie, 38, died unexpectedly June 4, 2012, at Caribou. She was born April 19, 1974, in New Milford, Conn., daughter of Rodney Jones and Diane Belanger. Shannon was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and loved spending time with her family and friends as well as shopping. She loved animals and cooking exquisite southern cuisine for others to enjoy. Her memory will be cherished by many. She is survived by her husband, Philip "Toby" Duplessie of Caribou; her father and stepmother, Rodney and Linda Jones of Fort Fairfield; her three children, Kevin, Megan and Macie Duplessie, all of Caribou; two brothers, Shaun Jones of Presque Isle and Beau Myrick of Caribou; three sisters, Jessica Jones of Easton, Sarah Jones of Fort Fairfield and Kristen LeBlanc of Tennessee; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Shannon was predeceased by her mother, Diane in 2008. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, from the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Jean Paul Labrie officiating. Interment will be at New Holy Rosary Cemetery.
