FORT KENT - Roselle Hebert, 97, died unexpectedly Jan. 2, 2013, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Jan. 5, 1915, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Willie and Annie (Boutot) Albert.

Roselle worked as a produce manager for Louis J. Paradis & Sons, Soucy's Economat and later as a seamstress. She devoted a lot of her time at Good Shepherd Shop since 1974. She belonged to Ladies of St. Anne, was a life member of L'union St. Jean Baptist, Retired Senior Volunteer Program for more than 35 years, the Elderly Social Action Council, and Northern Neighbors Quilters, all of Fort Kent.
She is survived by one sister, Aline Smith of Laguna Woods, Calif.; one sister-in-law, Annette Boutot of Madawaska; and one grandson, Scott and his wife, Lorie Hebert, and their daughter, Danica, all of Dayton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews; a close nephew, Michael Dubois of Fort Kent; and close niece, Rosella Levesque of Houlton. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Neil Hebert, in 1966; one son, Phil Hebert, in 1985; one sister, Mamie Nadeau; and sister-in-law, Bernadette Dubois.
Friends may call 8-9:45 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be in the parish cemetery May 13.
