WINTERPORT - Rose Marie (Bradeen) Harriman, 55, passed away Jan. 27, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Dec. 26, 1957, in Dover-Foxcroft, daughter of Vernon Bradeen Sr. and Eloise (Covey) Bradeen.

She lived most of her life in Winterport and was a graduate of Searsport High School. Rose was very talented and gifted at crafts. She especially enjoyed beading and going to the Beaded Moose where she made many good and lifelong friendships. Rose taught beaded jewelry classes and was a member of the Beader's Guild. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Rose is survived by her husband of 37 years, Mark R. Harriman Sr. of Winterport; daughter, Tina Marie Dunphy and fiancé, Shawn R. Southard of Burlington; stepson, Todd Harriman and wife, Brandi, of Searsport; siblings, Wanda Huntley of Hampden, Florence Lyford and husband, Doug, of Frankfort, Vernon Bradeen Jr., and wife, Dawn, of Warren, and Delthea Harriman of Abbot; grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, nieces, including a niece, Lillian "Tiny" Brecht who grew up with Rose's daughter, Tina; nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Verna Bradeen.

A gathering to celebrate and honor Rose's life will be held noon-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Hampden Snowmobile Club, 844 Western Ave., Hampden. In lieu of flowers and in keeping with Rose's love of animals, contributions may be made to Rose's family for distribution to various animal causes, care of P.O. Box 308, Winterport, ME 04496.
