BRADLEY - Roger A. Desrosiers, 51, passed away unexpectedly May 18, 2012. He was born in Woonsocket, R.I., the youngest son of Raymond Desrosiers Sr. and the late Lucienne Desrosiers. He was a graduate of Bellingham, Mass., schools and University of Missouri at Kansas City Conservatory with a degree in music education, and was an accomplished accordionist. He was a member of several Franco-American genealogical societies. He leaves many special friends at The Acadia Hospital, Bangor, where he had been employed since moving to Maine seven years ago. He was a longtime member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge No. 850, Woonsocket, R.I. Roger had a great love for his family and friends, of which there were many. His passions were his dog, Gus; the Patriots and Red Sox, cooking, gardening and working on his house in Bradley. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Maria Baker Desrosiers; sisters, Constance Vigue of Forida and Gail Carrier and husband, Ralph, of Rhode Island; brothers, Raymond Jr. of California and Ronald and wife, Kelly, of Unity; brothers-in-law, Christopher Baker of Salem, N.H., and wife, Lisa, and Christopher Gwinn of Rowley, Mass., and wife, Bernadette; stepdaughters, Regina Hardy of New Hampshire and Tina Mirabile and her husband, Christopher, of Massachusetts; seven beloved grandchildren, Kylee, Christian and Jacob of New Hampshire and Kelsee, Anthony, Melissa and James of Massachusetts; many nieces nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. June 29 at St. Jean de Baptiste Cemetery, Wrentham Road, Bellingham, Mass. A memorial gathering will be held 4 p.m. June 24 at the Desrosiers home in Bradley.
