PENOBSCOT - Rachael A. (Fields) Shook, 94, passed away peacefully Nov. 15, 2012. She was born July 4, 1918, in Presque Isle.

Rachael attended Beal Business School and worked for Prentiss & Carlisle, Bangor, for many years. She loved her family dearly. You will be dearly missed, Gram Gram.

Rachael is survived by two sons, James Shook of Manchester, N.H., and John Shook and his wife, Paulette, of Penobscot; a daughter, Jane Funk and her husband, Jim, of Elizabethtown, Pa.; six grandchildren and their spouses, Stephanie, Jason and Katie, Jessica, Heather, Corey and Ian; nine great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Colleen and Donna; and special sister-in-law, Jane Shook of Frostburg, Md. Rachael was predeceased by her parents, Earle and Fern Fields; brother, John Fields; and sister, Helen Rainey.
