CARIBOU - Walter A. "Pete" St. Peter Jr., 68, passed away Feb. 17, 2013, in Caribou, after a sudden illness.

Pete is survived by his wife of 49 years, Irene (Gauvin). They were married Oct. 26, 1963, in Caribou. Together they had four wonderful children, nine awesome grandchildren and four amazing great-grandchildren: his children, Faith Perry and husband, Edward, and their children, Jamie Perry Ireland, Mark Perry, Katie Perry and fiancé, Josh, and grandchildren, Ethan, Willow and Kyrie; TerryLee Pelletier and husband, Chuck, and their children, Sara, Audrey, Isaiah and Emmanuel Pelletier; Victor St. Peter; and Kelly St. Peter and companion, Shawn Beaulieu, and her children, Wynonna Lacroix and Jayson James Lacroix, and her grandson, Issac. Pete had a love for the outdoors. He and Irene enjoyed traveling to the coast of Maine with their family and exploring all it had to offer. Pete would love to tell stories to anyone who would listen. When he was not out "playing" in the dirt he would spend time at Phil St. Peter's, tinkering on his equipment. Pete was a very loving and compassionate husband, father and friend. He will be greatly missed.

Pete is also survived by his sisters, Gail LaPointe and companion, Gary Thompson, and Lisa (St. Peter) Grindle and husband, Jim; sister-in-law, Theresa Thibodeau; and brother, Joseph St. Peter. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Lillian (Lewis) St. Peter; brother, Erwin St. Peter; and sister, Joanna St. Peter.

In honor of Pete's wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Friends of Acadia, P.O. Box 45, Bar Harbor, ME 04609 in Walter "Pete" St. Peter's name would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.
