PRESQUE ISLE - Nancy (Conley) Carmichael, 69, passed away peacefully Nov. 12, 2012, surrounded by loved ones. She was born Aug. 2, 1943, in Presque Isle, the daughter of the late Milford and Rebecca (Gardiner) Conley.
She is survived by her daughter, Deniece Eden and her husband, Nathan, of Key West, Fla.; a son, Dennis Carmichael and his wife, Sabrina; two grandsons, Brice and Dennis, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Carolyn Fox and Louise Walton and her husband, Ramie, all of Presque Isle; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Carmichael; her brother, Gary Conley; and sisters, Susan Boutot and Brenda Conley.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery after the service. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Visiting Nurses of Aroostook, 14 Access Highway, Caribou, ME 04736.
