POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Melissa Kaehler, 35, died unexpectedly May 5, 2012, in Florida, where she resided for seven years. She was born Oct. 6, 1976, in Utah, to Howard Lassalle and Pamela Burns King. She was a 1994 graduate of Hermon High School with honors, and from Husson College in 2001, summa cum laude. She was listed in the book "Who's Who Among Students," which was a great achievement and honor for her and our family. She leaves behind her mother, Pamela and stepfather, Edward King, of Glenburn; sister, Stephanie of Glenburn; brother, Michael and his fiancee, Heather Morgan, of Limington; her biological father, Howard Lassalle and wife, Becky, of Arizona; half sister, Robin Roberts of Florida; and a very special friend, Paul Story of Levant, who will miss her beyond words. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Kathleen Eaton Burns, in 1986; and grandfather, George Burns, in 1993. Upon Melissa's request, she wishes no funeral or graveside services.
