MILLINOCKET - Mary Ella Boynton, 73, wife of the late Waldon Boynton Sr., died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at a Millinocket hospital. She was born Aug. 13, 1938, to Joseph Theriault and Margaret Williams.
Mary was a fun loving, warm-hearted woman. Her favorite thing to do was cook for people, which was perfect because she was awesome at it - the best. Mary was also a great listener and confidante. She was able to offer good advice without being pushy. One would come away from a conversation with her feeling better about life. Her little sayings - many of them humorous - would make you think, "I should write that down." Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Gay Dickinson and fiance, Kent Waite, Waldon Boynton Jr., and Mark Boynton and wife, Dawn; and grandchildren, Heather Murphy, Bruce Dickinson, Seth Dickinson and wife, Andrea, Mark and Thomas Boynton, Reegan Boynton, and Josee Boynton. She also leaves behind Denise Devoe Hazelett and husband, Terry, and children, Diandra and Shea; and a brother, Kirby Williams. In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was predeceased by a son-in-law, Rob Dickinson; and her dear love, Donald J. Devoe.
A celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Tri Town Baptist Church, 8 Cone St., East Millinocket, with Pastor Paul Fuller officiating.
