ST. AGATHA - Martha Pelletier, 83, died peacefully Jan. 3, 2013, at a health facility in Newton, N.J. She was born Feb. 26, 1929, in St. Hilaire, New Brunswick, daughter of Daniel and Febronie (Pelletier) Landry.

She was a member of Ladies of St. Anne, and she loved to garden and work in her flowers.
She is survived by one daughter, Darleen and husband, Mark Nelson, of Newton, N.J.; two grandchildren, David and Katie; one brother, Arthur "Babe" and wife, Irma Landry, of St. Agatha; one sister, Dora and husband, Roy Kraack, of California; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Levite Pelletier; three brothers, Willard, Oneil and Yvon; and three sisters, Yvette, Irene and Dorothy.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at St. Agatha Catholic Church with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. There will be no calling hours. Friends and relatives may meet to give their condolences to the family 9 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be in the spring at St. Agatha Lower Cemetery.
