EAGLE LAKE - Marie Anna Dube, 90, died peacefully May 4, 2012, with her daughters by her side at an Eagle Lake health care facility. She was born Dec. 31, 1921, in St. Francois, New Brunswick, the daughter of George and Edith Bouchard. Marie Anna belonged to Ladies of St. Ann and was a past member of Ladies Auxiliary, Eagle Lake. She had a very strong Catholic faith. Family and her church were both very important to her. She was an excellent mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and was also a seamstress. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Louise and her husband, Clayton Dube, of Wallagrass and Claire and her husband, Rick St. Peter, of Cross Lake; five grandchildren, Ben Adams of Mapleton, Angela and her husband, Mark Forino, of Wallagrass, Ryan and his wife, Carrie St. Peter, of Woodland, Adam and his wife, Sonia St. Peter, of Caribou and Kellie St. Peter of Caribou; six great-grandchildren, Sydney, Aiden, Josey, Mason, Taylor and Allison; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by one sister, Sister Jeanne Bouchard of Baie St. Paul, Quebec. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alcier Dube, in 2004; one son, Michael, in 1978; seven sisters, Isabelle Lachance, Sister Bertha Bouchard, Sister Ida Bouchard, Sister Lucy Bouchard, Rose Helen LaCombe, Flora Chouinard and Theresa Pelletier; and four brothers, Aurel, Alban, Lionel and Abel Bouchard. Friends may call 8:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Eagle Lake. Those who wish may donate in her memory to Hospice of Aroostook, P.O. Box 688, Caribou, ME 04736. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
