CHARLESTON - Marian Rogalski, 87, passed away Jan. 21, 2013, at a Bangor hospital after complications with respiratory and heart ailments. She was born July 18, 1925, in Parsons, Pa., one of nine children born to Alice and Amos Rhodes.

Marian was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre Business College in accounting, and worked for many years as a bookkeeper. She relocated from Plains, Pa., to Charleston, in January 2004; she thoroughly loved her new surroundings, living close to family members and making new friends.

Marian was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Rogalski; three sisters, Kathryn, Ester and Louise; two brothers, Amos and Jack; and great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Poulin. She is survived by three sisters, Alice, Janice and Shirley; two sons, Wayne Rogalski and wife, Susan, of Bradford and Joseph Rogalski and wife, Nancy, of Plains, Pa.; daughter, Patricia Kaylor and husband, John, of Miamisburg, Ohio; as well as six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Alice, Becky and Marla.
