SOUTHINGTON, Conn. - Lois Alix passed away July 11, 2012. Lois was the wife of Raymond Alix and they were married for 34 years. She was born Nov. 18, 1948, in Presque Isle, daughter of the late Evard and Geraldine (Guiou) McIntyre. Lois retired from Hancock's Pharmacy after 14 years. She spent many years serving Connecticut Advent Christian Camp Meeting Association. In addition to her husband, Raymond, she is survived by her daughter, Liane and her only grandson, Stuart, of Winsted; and her son, the Rev. Michael Alix and wife, Erica, of Waterville. Viewing hours will be held 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Della Vecchia Funeral Home, 211 North Main St., Southington, Conn., where a service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 16. Burial will take place after the service at Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington, Conn. In lieu of flowers, send donations made payable to the Stuart Alix College Fund, care of TD Bank, 900 Queen St., Southington, CT 06489.
