Blue Hill - Linda Lee(Freethey) Gray, 72, went to be with the Lord on August 29, 2014, where she will be reunited with her beloved parents William Robert and Frances Marian(Tapley) Freethey. Linda graduated as Valedictorian from Brooklin High School class of 1960. Linda was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild meant the world to her.

Linda is survived by three sons, Kevin J. Gray and Nancy L. Gray of Massachusetts, Daniel T. Gray and wife Amie Goode of Eddington, and Tobias S. Gray and partner Rachel York of Augusta, grandsons Joshua S. Gray and wife Mary Sin of Massachusetts, Jacob Gray of Bangor, Elliot Heistand son of Amie Goode of Eddington, great granddaughter Lillian S. Gray, sisters Melanie Freethey of Brooklin and Tammy Freethey Archer of Bucksport, brothers Robert Freethey and Darrell Freethey of Brooklin and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Linda is predeceased by her brothers William Edward Freethey and Richard Whitney Freethey, both from Brooklin.
Her family would like to extend special thanks for the exceptional care and support Linda received from the staff at Hancock County Home Care and Hospice, the Brewer Center for Health and Rehab, and BJ Sherman whose unwavering friendship and caring support for Linda over the years has been deeply appreciated.
A memorial service for Linda will be held on Friday, September 5th at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church, 22 Bay Road, Brooklin, Maine.
