PATTEN - K. Delbert Willett, 83, died Jan. 29, 2013, in Patten. He was born March 4, 1929, in Mount Chase, the son of Clifford and Virgie (Morrison) Willett.

Delbert retired from Sherman Lumber Co. after 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, ice fishing, tying flies and hunting.

He is survived by five children, Wayne and Wanda Willett, Valerie and David Gardner, Lu-Anne Brooks and Frank Dickinson, all of Patten, Tracy Willett and Laura Boynton of Westfield and Cory and Kimberly Willett of Caribou; 10 grandchildren, David Jr., Rochhelle, Jody, Eric, Tony, Joshua, Heather, Christopher, Caleb and Karlee; 13 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Payton, Tristan, Jordyn, Brody, Maxwell, Lucie, Mersiah, Dragone, Madison, Grant, Colby and Levi; two brothers, John and Mary Willett of Sherman and Leroy and Dale Willett of Oakfield; two sisters, Aubine Fox of Oakfield and April and John Peavey of Patten; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, June Michaud Willett; and one brother, Darrell.

Friends may call 11 a.m.-noon Saturday at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls, with funeral services being held at noon with the Rev. Regginal Adams officiating.
