HUDSON - Joyce Mildred (Jipson) McCullough, 78, passed away peacefully Jan. 10, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 13, 1934, in Lincoln, to Ella (McDonald) Jipson and Clifton Jipson.

Joyce worked at Striar Textile Mill, Orono; Old Town Shoe and Bass Shoe, Brewer. She enjoyed gardening and canning; knitting and crocheting; and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a member of the Better Breathers Club at St. Joseph Hospital.

She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Calvin Jipson; and her grandson, Leo St. Germaine Jr. Joyce is survived by her seven children, Andrea Dodd and her husband, Michael, of Ashton, Ark., Gordon Dunn and his wife, Donna, of Waterville, Clifton McCullough and his wife, Allison, of LaGrange, Edward L. McCullough and his wife, Sharon, of Wallingford, Conn., Kevin McCullough and his wife, Therez, of Hudson, Guy McCullough Jr. and significant other, Wendy, of Hudson and Steven McCullough and his wife, Cornelia, of East Corinth; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Per Joyce's request, a springtime graveside service will be held 11 a.m. May 18 at Hudson Cemetery.
