NEWBURGH - Joyce Ann Lisenby, 71, graduated to heaven May 25, 2012, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born Jan. 28, 1941, in Long Island, N.Y., the daughter of Rudolph R. and Anne (Baranovich) Wolf. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, John W. Lisenby of Newburgh; son, John P. Lisenby and his wife, Donna, and their children, Catherine and Leah, of Corinna; daughter, Melanie A. Monk and her husband, John, and their children, Miranda and Reid, of Hermon; brother, Rudolph R. Wolf Jr. and his wife, Veronica, of Oyster Bay, Long Island, N.Y.; sister, Diane E. Sholder and her husband, Ronnie, of Bay Shore, Long Island, N.Y.; several special nieces and nephews. A memorial service honoring Joyce's life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, with Pastor Larry Hodgkins and Pastor Robert Henderson officiating. Family and friends may visit 10 a.m. until the time of service. After the service everyone is invited to Jeff's Catering, 15 Littlefield Way, Brewer, for a continued time of remembrance and refreshments. In keeping with Joyce's love for her God and church, memorial gifts may be made to Good News Baptist Church, P.O. Box 8464, Bangor, ME 04402.
