DERBY - Josephine A. Morrison, 74, wife of the late Perl J. Morrison, passed away Sept. 11, 2013, at her home on the Ferry Road surrounded by her four daughters. She was born Sept. 28, 1938, in Barnard, the daughter of Leslie T. and Frances R. (Badger) Damon.

Josie spent her life being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She worked 24 years at Dexter Shoe Co., Milo. In 1997, she very proudly achieved and received her GED.

In addition to her loving husband of 58 years, Perl, Josie was predeceased by her sister, Sally Damon; and a son-in-law, Billy Roberts. She is survived by her four daughters, Debby Roberts, Penny Ames and her husband, Russell, Tiny York and her husband, Chris, and Fran Brewer and her husband, Jeff; six grandchildren, Jessica Atkinson and her husband, Jason, Hillary Roberts Johnson and her husband, Michael, Hilda Roberts and her husband, John Dyer, James Tweedie, Brittany Tweedie, and Adam Brewer; four great-grandchildren, Grady and Liam Atkinson, Olivia Johnson, and Aria Hartin; a sister, Barbara Damon; a brother, Harold Damon; and a very special niece and her family, Jon Jon, Babe, and Lanie Badger. The family wishes to thank the Community Health and Counseling nurses, Ardie and Laura.

A celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at Pleasant Park Community Building, Milo. A private graveside service will be held for the family in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Milo Rec.
