PRESQUE ISLE - Quietly and peacefully Ivan Maynard Ricker, 99, went to be with Lord Jan. 9, 2013. Ivan was born May 5, 1914, in Presque Isle, to the late Frederick and Martha Ricker. He was the last of 13 children.

Prior to his retirement, he spent his life farming for many years with his brother, Claude on the Chapman Road. He was a respected member of the community and a devoted man of God who faithfully served at Presque Isle Wesleyan Church.

He is survived by two sons, the Rev. Hazen Ricker of Sussex, New Brunswick, and Robert Ricker; daughter, Phyllis and husband, David Henderson, all of Lakeland, Fla.; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two wives, Hope (Mc-Laughlin) Ricker, in 1974, and Elaine (Jenson) Ricker, in 2010.

Family and friends may call 10 a.m.-noon, Monday, Jan. 14, at Presque Isle Wesleyan Church, 387 Centerline Road, Presque Isle, where a funeral service will be held noon with Pastors Bud Fancy, Darren Bonneville and Bernard Brown, officiating.
