MEDWAY - Harold James Larlee Sr., 78, husband of Ruth (McLaughlin) Larlee, died Nov. 29, 2012, at his home. He was born Jan. 9, 1934, in Mil-linocket, son of Daniel C. Larlee and Gladys (White) Larlee.

Harold was employed at Great Northern Paper, Millinocket; Brown Co., Berlin, N.H.; Lake Utopia, St. George, New Brunswick; St. Regis Co., Carthage, N.Y.; Madison Paper, Madison, and Dubois Chemicals in Wisconsin. He was a member of the Maine National Guard.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, Ruth; he is survived by daughters, Cheryl Smith and husband, Barry, of Newmarket, Ontario, Sandra Larlee of Madison; sons, Hal Larlee and wife, Angela, of North Anson, Scott Larlee and wife, Karen, of Greenbush; grandchildren, Elizabeth Corbin and husband, Floyd, Stephanie, Michael, Brittany, Emily, Sarah; and great-granddaughter, Lena. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Robert Larlee and Coleman Larlee; and sisters, Lillian Morey and Elizabeth Noyes.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Mattawamkeag Church of God where services will be held 1 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Mark York officiating. Interment will be at Grindstone Road Cemetery.
