HERMON - Harold Frank St. Louis, 84, passed away Jan. 13, 2013, at his home. Harold was born Nov. 22, 1928, in Old Town, to Leo and Gladys (Bouchard) St. Louis.

Harold was a well-known home builder in the Hermon area and he was one of the founders of the Hermon Skeet Club. He loved having his grandchildren round and feeding the wildlife outside. He will be remembered for his daily visits to Dysarts and Hermon Family Restaurant, where both he and his family not only appreciated their great food, but excellent hospitality.

Harold is survived by his children, Debra Wiggin and her husband, Steven, and Dale St. Louis and wife, Theresa, all of Hermon; grandchildren, Jason Wiggin of Bangor, Jessica Poland and husband, Benjamin, of Levant, Brady St. Louis and Cole St. Louis, both of Hermon, and Meagen St. Louis of Washington; great-grandchildren, Liam and Alexis Poland of Levant; his sister, Jeanette Sylvester and her husband, Roger, of Carmel; two brothers, Leon St. Louis and his wife, Rita, of Carmel and Richard St. Louis and his wife, Donna, of Brewer; a special niece, Clintine Steele and her husband, Robert, of Florida; and special friends, Donald and Mary Gaudreau of Hermon; as well as several nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by his wife, Elaine (Hemberg) St. Louis, in 2006.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at a time and date to be announced at Evergreen Cemetery, Hermon. Arrangements entrusted to Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. Memorial contributions in Harold's honor may be made to Hermon Volunteer Rescue Squad, 262 Billings Road, Hermon, ME 04401.
