EAST MILLINOCKET - Evan Eugene VanDine, 59, husband of Glenda (O'Donal) VanDine, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Feb. 1, 2013, at a Millinocket hospital. He was born Nov. 14, 1953, in Lincoln, the son of Rueben and Shirley (Morse) VanDine.

Evan was a great outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating and four-wheeling. He loved to read Westerns and the Bible. He attended Calvary Temple - Assembly of God, where he was an active member.

In addition to his wife, Glenda, he is survived by two brothers, Alan and Denise VanDine of Baltimore and Gary and Ruth VanDine of Rhode Island; two sisters, Kathy Caswell and Lester of Millinocket and Willow "Kara" Divine of Orono; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glenwood and Angie O'Donal of Millinocket; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Glenn and Leanne O'Donal of Webster Plantation, Laurie and Vern Rossignol of Medway, Randy O'Donal of East Millinocket, Lorna and Greg Cox of Florida and Ruthie and Andrew Carver of East Millinocket; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother in 1978, his father in 1999; and his stepmother, Thyra VanDine, in 2007.

Friends may call noon-1 p.m. Monday at Calvary Temple - Assembly of God, 2 Orchard St., East Millinocket, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Regginal Adams officiating.
