BANGOR - Elise M. Lavoie Beaulieu, 95, died Dec. 1, 2012, at a local nursing home. She was born July 15, 1917, in Wallagrass, daughter of Edmund and Mary (Belanger) Michaud.

Elise was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Ave Maria Circle Daughters of Isabelle. Elise enjoyed knitting and cooking for family and friends at her home.

She is survived by two sons, David Lavoie of Bangor and Raymond Lavoie of North Carolina; one sister, Claudia Labbe of Connecticut; seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert Lavoie; second husband, Lionel Beaulieu; two sons, Patrick and Joseph; and two brothers, Edward and Joseph.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church. Interment will be after in the family lot at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor.
