She was predeceased by three brothers, Gary, Ellwood and Armen Naujoks; and great-niece, Christen Naujoks of Cleveland. The family thanks the staff at Eastern Maine Medical Center, for their compassion and care of Eileen, while she was there.

After meeting the love of her life, Eugene, in New York City, they soon married in The Little Church Around The Corner, 1 East 29th St., Manhattan, New York City, April 16, 1945. As a city-gal from Cleveland, Eileen had to adapt quickly to a frugal Maine way of life. With always a smile on her face she made the transition and to everyone's benefit she became a wonderful cook, seamstress, artist, organizer, and wife and mother. She joined Orland Methodist Church in 1945 to which she dedicated many hours becoming superintendent of the Sunday school, member of the church choir, meticulous seamstress and keeper of the church alter cloths. Eileen was past president, secretar, and treasurer of Orland Methodist Church Women's Group. She was a life member of Orland Historical Society; town clerk of Orland for 14 years; and a Girl Scout leader when her girls were young. Eileen was a member of Order of the Eastern Star No. 123, for 67 years and was very pleased to be awarded the Shining Star Pin for serving as officer on all five points. She was past musician of Social Order of the Beauceant and member of Grand Cross of Color of Order of the Rainbow for Girls. In recent years, Eileen was musician for Pomona Grange No. 13, Hancock County; Castine Grange No. 250; and Victory Grange No. 538, North Orland. Eileen had a wide variety of interests. Along with her major focus on music she was also an avid reader, artist/painter, quilt maker, baker and domino player. She loved to sing, smile and make those around her laugh. Her smile and laugh was contagious. Holidays and gatherings were always memorable.
