ST. STEPHEN, NEW BRUNSWICK - Duane Alden Ellis, of husband of Jan (Hastey) Ellis, and son of the late John A. and Gladys Alverna (Nichols) Ellis, died Aug.6, 2012, at Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
Survived by his wife, Jan; five children, Michael Ellis and Lori of Calais, Shannon McShane of Buxton, Sean Ellis of Windham, Brett Estey and Tanya of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, and Tricia Richardson and Joe of Oak Bay, New Brunswick; four grandchildren, Patrick Ellis, Dustin Ellis, Mark McShane III and Leah Mae Ellis; one great-grandson, Jackson Ellis; two brothers, Dwight Ellis and Judy of Otis and Darryl Ellis and Cherie of Monmouth; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Resting at S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home, St. Stephen, New Brunswick, where the funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9. Family will receive friends 2-3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. For those who wish, remembrances would be appreciated by the family to St. Croix Country Club Junior Golf Club, P.O.
