WASHBURN - Drusilla J. Turner, 85, went to be with her Lord, April 9, 2012, in Presque Isle, after a very brief illness. She was born May 28, 1926, in Washburn, daughter of the late Cecil and Musa (Crouse) Porter. She was educated in Washburn schools and on June 26, 1945, she married Glen Turner. Drusilla spent many years raising her family and working with Glen in their farming operation, and in later years she worked at McCain's until the time of her retirement. Drusilla enjoyed fellowship with her Perham Baptist Church family. She had many fond memories of the times she spent on outings with the senior ladies from Washburn and she truly enjoyed times shared with her special friend, Anita Tarr of Washburn. Drusilla is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Angie Turner of Presque Isle and Mark and Beverly Turner of Perham; her grandchildren, Timothy Durepo and his wife, Nancy, of New Jersey, Robert Turner and his wife, Tiffany, of Florida, Kimberely Dinwoodie and her fiance, William, of Rhode Island, Courtney Turner of Perham and Rick Fitzgerald of Presque Isle; her great-grandchildren, Taylor and Sydney Durepo, Zachary and Dylan Turner, and Alex Dinwoodie; her brother, Richard Porter and his wife, Barbara; and her brother-in-law, Bert Turner, all of Washburn. Mrs. Turner was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Glen; and her daughter, Deborah Jean Turner. Friends may call 1 p.m. until time of services 2 p.m. Thursday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, with the Rev. David Goupille officiating. Interment will be at Crouseville Cemetery. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com
