VAN BUREN - Donna L. Franck, 73, died Sept. 14, 2012, at a Van Buren health care facility after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born May 5, 1939, in Caswell, the daughter of Richard and Velma (King) Tracy.

Donna enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband, Jimmy Franck. She also loved working in her flower garden, crocheting and sewing doll clothes for her many little friends. Donna was employed for many years as a teller for Northern National Bank and County Federal Credit Union. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of Caribou.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Jimmy Franck Jr. of Van Buren Cove at Long Lake; three sons, Douglas CK Morrell and wife, Jennia, of Caribou, James Morrell of Caribou and Richard Morrell and wife, Mary, of Somers, Conn.; stepchildren, Arlene, Richard, Danny and Debbie; one brother, Bob Tracy of Caribou; two sisters, Betty Wright of Caribou and Dorothy Tracy of Westbrook; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by three brothers, Dickie, Gary and Arthur. The family of Donna extends their sincere gratitude to the staff at Borderview nursing facility for the exceptional care given to her during her stay.

There will be no visiting hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, where family will receive friends and family 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in her memory to the St. Bruno-St. Remi Mercy Meal Fund, 174 Main St., Van Buren, ME 04785.
