PLAINVILLE, Conn. - Donald Martin, 63, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at the Veterans Affairs hospital in West Haven, Conn. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Norton) Martin for 27 years. Donald served proudly in the Marine Corps in Vietnam and he worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for more than 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion, Plainville, Conn., and Disabled American Veterans. Donald was an avid traveler and loved fishing, NASCAR racing and the New York Giants. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; a son, Aron Martin and his wife, Heather; a daughter, Teasha Martin and one grandson, Ebon Martin; and a brother, Daniel Martin. Donald also leaves behind cherished friends, Diane Roth, Bob, Henry, Bobby, Brent and Donnie; and his beloved companions, Cooper, Sabrina and Grayson. Donald was predeceased by his mother and father.
