BUCKSPORT - David L. Winchester, 69, of Bucksport, passed away Feb. 25, 2013 at a Bangor hospital. David was born March 13, 1943, in Bucksport, the son of Guy and Katherine Winchester.

He graduated from Bucksport High School in 1962. David worked at Champion Paper Mill in Bucksport for 36 years. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage, gardening and having morning coffee at McDonald's with the guys. David was an avid outdoorsman and loved visiting with his family. David married his wife, Earlene, June 20, 1964; they were married for 49 years.

David is survived by his loving wife, Earlene; constant companion, Cracker; his children, Ellen and her husband, Tim, Jody and her husband, Kevin, David and his wife, Michaela; his grandchildren, Matthew and his wife, Amber, Tyler, Tori, Damien, Jeffrey and Jared; brothers and sisters, Jeannie White and husband, Brian, Muriel Grindle and husband, Francis, Donald Winchester and wife, Elaine, Ruth Ginn and husband, Clinton, Laurie Wilbur and husband, Dalt; sister in law, Vera Young and husband, Stanley; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Guy; mother, Katherine; and his brother, Arthur.
