BREWER - Clovis "Frenchie" J. Ouellette, 72, passed away Aug. 8, 2012, surrounded by his family at a local Bangor hospital. He was born Jan. 25, 1940, in Frenchville, son of Emile J. and Rose A. (Gorneault) Ouellette.
Frenchie was a member of the Eagles Club for many years and he retired from Coles Express.
Frenchie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia (Woodbury) Ouellette of Brewer; daughter, Michelle Curley and husband, Thomas; son, Jeffrey Ouellette and wife, Michele; five grandchildren, Heidi Toner, Jennifer Curley, Ryan Curley, Matthew Ouellette and Michael Ouellette; seven great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Reno and Sue Ouellette of Brewer, Rosaire Ouellette of Bristol, Conn., Gerard and Mary Ouellette of Bristol, Conn., Roland and Sue Ouellette of Niles, Ohio, and Donald and Maxine Ouellette of Bristol, Conn.; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Anita Chambers of Monson, Gloria and Barry McCready of Brewer, and Annette and Wade Shippee of Bristol, Conn.; Patricia's family, Sandra and Kenny Stevenson of Hampden, Cheryl and Richard Lizotte of Bangor, and Gena Houston of Bangor; and many special friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Bertrand, Roger and Albert Ouellette.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main St., Brewer, where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11.
