VAN BUREN - Claude Labreck, 69, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Cary Medical Center, Caribou, after a lengthy illness. He was born May 9, 1943, in Caswell, the son of Noel and Alice (Fisher) Labrecque.

Claude was a hard worker, he worked various jobs, including many years at a textile mill in Biddeford. Claude was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed visiting his granddaughter and great-grandchildren in southern Maine and was loved by numerous friends and family.
He is survived by a son, Mark Labreck and wife, Kathleen, of Old Orchard; granddaughter, Tiffany Haskell of Biddeford; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Jacob Haskell; brother, Clifford Labreck of Van Buren; sister, Eva Bell of Caswell; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Regina Ann (King) Labreck; and several siblings.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Hamlin, with the Rev. David Cote, celebrant. Interment will be at the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lancastermorgan.com.
