KENDUSKEAG - Charles R. Pribus, 67, passed away May 14, 2012, at his residence. Chuck was born July 26, 1944, in Mount Kisco, N.Y., the son of Carl F. and Laura (Clark) Pribus. A U.S. Army veteran, Chuck owned and operated C.P. Arts, Inc., Manhattan, N.Y., for 15 years before owning Station Market, Brownville Junction, for the next 15 years. Chuck is survived by a son, Carl and his wife, Alyssa Pribus, of Kenduskeag; two daughters, Maggie and her husband, Chuck Vance, of Glenburn and Abigail and her husband, Jason, of Carmel, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Chloe Adams, Zoe Vance, Laura and Lena Pribus; the mother of his children, Norma Pribus; and a sister, Jane Cizynski. He was predeceased by a sister, Laura Frasier. Friends are invited to call 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Lary Funeral Home, Milo. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, May 18, at St. John's Catholic Church, Bangor, with Father Roland Nadeau officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carcinoid Cancer Foundation, Inc., 333 Mamaroneck Ave., No. 492, White Plains, NY, 10605.
