DETROIT - Carol J. Rines-Lambert, 53, died July 13, 2012, at her home after a long illness. She was born Jan. 6, 1959, in Waterville, the daughter of Lloyd W. and Lillian M. (Wise) Rines. Carol was a graduate of Maine Central Institute, Pittsfield, class of 1977. She was employed as a seamstress at CM Almy, Pittsfield, for more than 35 years. Carol loved a good sale and enjoyed going to yard sales with her mother.She enjoyed family outings and just being with her family.Carol is survived by her husband and life partner of more than 25 years, William "Chuck" Lambert of Detroit; her sister, Virginia "Ginny" Basford of Detroit; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Sheila Southard; and her brother, Fred Rines.Graveside services will be conducted 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Pittsfield Village Cemetery, Pittsfield.
