CLIFTON - Brian K. Bates, 50, passed away suddenly Aug. 9, 2012, of a heart attack. He was born Aug. 10, 1962, in Bangor.
He is survived by his son, Brian II; beloved mother, Dorothy Bates; uncle, Joseph Bates; brothers, Michael and Roger Bates; sister, Barbara and friend, Antonio Ponte; one special friend, Cathy Gates; and half brother, Jodi Bates. He had many friends and relatives.
He will be placed to rest 1 p.m. Aug. 18 at Maple Wood Cemetery, Route 180, Clifton. There will be a gathering afterward at 1612 Otis Road, Otis.
