DEXTER - Brenda A. Royal, 57, went to be with the Lord, Aug. 8, 2012, after a long illness. She was born June 29, 1955, in New Hampshire, a daughter of Frank and Pauline (Evans) LaCrosse Sr.
Brenda worked at Dexter Shoe Co. for 30 years. She also worked at Creative Apparel until she became ill. Brenda will be remembered as an avid fisherman and hunter. She also enjoyed camping and four-wheeling in the outdoors enjoying the good life.
She is survived by her husband, Clayton; children, Lisa and husband, Patrick St. Pierre, Lori Jackson and fiance, Dennis Jalbert, Jeff Royal, Gianna and husband, Beau Blanchard, and Michelle Crocker; sisters, Debra and husband, Danny Douglass, and Renda Gray; brother, Frank LaCrosse Jr.; 15 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, six nieces and nephews; best friends, Sheila Smith and Kelly Kelley; and special nephew, Michael Smith. She was predeceased by her parents; and stepdad, Lloyd Gray.
