FORT KENT - Brenda (Boucher) Dube, 59, died peacefully Aug. 21, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born March 25, 1954, the daughter of Emile and Gertrude (Blier) Boucher.

Brenda worked at Cross Winds as a medical technician, She loved caring for her patients, always seeing a smile on their face as she entered the room, having a kind heart she truly enjoyed caring for people. She was also a foster mom to many children for over 20 years.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Gorman Dube of Fort Kent; three children, Aaron Dube of Durham, N.H., Ryan and wife, Mary Dube, of Port Hueneme, Calif., and Kristin Dube of St. Francis; two special granddaughters, Danica Dube and Jayda Dube; her mother, Gertrude Boucher of Fort Kent; and two brothers, Danny and wife, Darlene Boucher, and Leland and wife, Lisa Boucher, all of Fort Kent. She's also survived by several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father in 1982.
Friends may call 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will be at a later date in the parish cemetery.
